Performance: Magic show
I was both nervous and excited when preparing for the magic show. On the one hand, I felt nervous because I have never imagined that I would perform in front of over 1 000 people. On the other hand, I was excited as it was my first time to work with my partner and the performance could enable the audience to witness my personal growth.
The process of creating a magic show, from nothing to achieving the desirable stage effects, was certainly unforgettable. There were many hiccups during my practice, and I was worried that I would embarrass my partner and mess things up. That said, I persisted and pushed myself further. Fortunately, on the day of performance, I was in a good state and worked in perfect harmony with my partner. Our performance ended successfully. Unlike my previous performances, this time I have learnt to enjoy the process, which gave me greater sense of satisfaction and success. I hope that in future I will have the opportunity to work with my partner again, and together we can pursue our dreams with no regrets.

Performance: Magic show
To me, the most unforgettable experience this time is definitely my debut inclusion of mime performance into a magic show with the largest audience I’ve ever had. It was also the first time for me to work with a partner. I can’t put into words how exhilarating it was. The creation of the magic show was no easy task for me and my partner. We experienced a lot of setbacks and challenges during rehearsals. Yet, with determination, we overcame these hurdles one by one. We finally developed a good rapport and offered the audience a good show. I’ve found great satisfaction in this performance which was also a precious experience for my personal growth. I would like to extend my special thanks to the centre for giving me the chance to give full play to my talent, and providing support and companionship for us throughout the process. I will keep this experience in my heart and continue to work hard towards my goals.
