Companionship throughout the Growth Journey

Andrew Yung has participated in 12 CDF projects mentoring a total of 15 participants. Among them is Man Kai-fung, who has been Andrew’s mentee for over 10 years and has become more like a family member to him. To Andrew, it is beyond words to see his mentees having their own careers and even their own families.
Coming also from the grassroots, Andrew understands the difficulties faced by the participants. He said, “I’m not a professional social worker, and I don’t intend to take up the parenting role. I choose to be a companion supporting my mentees in pursuit of their dreams. I want to give them the strength to carry on.”
