We collaborate with different sectors from the communities to build up the children's personal and social assets so as to increase their chance of future success. Training programmes for children: Our CDF project helps children to improve the ability of resilience, develop positive beliefs and plan for the future actively through the concept of "case management" and "asset-building", which includes: - Personal assets: strengthening the children personal capacities, interpersonal relationships skills, career planning and resilience. - Social assets: broadening the children's social horizon and life experience through mentorship. - Financial assets: enhancing the children's capacity of financial management/ planning financial and developing their healthy saving habits. Training programmes for parents: We will provide training courses for the parents to improve their financial management capacity, parenting, life management skills and social support, etc., in order to create a better living environment for the children. Training programmes for mentors: We will provide skills trainings for the mentors including relationship building and communication skills with children, enhance and explore others' potentials, assisting children target setting and plan execution. |
