學員投入電影世界 學習拯救地球

今年4月3日，20名兒童發展基金學員參與第四十屆香港國際電影節，有機會欣賞其中一套精選電影《自己地球自己救》，更獲安排與嘉賓講者周思中於放映會後進行分享。該套外語紀錄片講述導演兼女主角與其他有兒有女的電影人，一同走訪世界各地，探索各種可行且正在實行的環保方法，以抵抗氣候變化，包括到訪以地熱能和風力發電的冰島，以及嘗試以城市種植振興經濟的美國城市底特律等。學員透過電影，了解到人類正面臨重大危機，並學習如何由社區做起自救工作，齊來拯救地球。

伊斯蘭脫維善紀念中學 "Tomorrow (Demain) is an amazing film. I learned a lot of new things such as the flaws of the global capitalist financial system, political processes and even gained many ideas for potential businesses in an alternative economic system. The film was enlightening, and quite touching in an unusual way. I have never seen such a film in my life, that made me want to get up and do something concrete about impending catastrophe brought about by global warming. I wish all the concerned people could watch it and come together to work on programs to save our environment." |
